Team Northeast won the ATB Alberta Cup for a second year in a row, defeating Team Calgary North by a score of 6-3. The tournament featured some of the most skilled players to ever play in the event, including Tyler Benson and Sam Steele. Steele would score 15 points in five games, including two goals in the championship game.
Northeast went undefeated in the tournament, beating South, Calgary North, Northwest in the round robin, Calgary South in the semis, and Calgary North once again in the ’A’ final. Calgary North’s only defeats came to Northeast, as they beat Northwest and South in round robin, and Edmonton South in semi-finals.
